I'm having this problem too. I made sure to click on the All-in-one installer.

Hi,
The good news is that it's not a widespread problem but very likely only affects a very limited amount of people.
The bad news is that I'm unable to reproduce it on my machine - so I need your help with debugging it.

Some Questions for you:
- Are you also running Win10 like the other reporter?
- Did you ever install Calibre as a standalone version on your computer (That's what FFDL uses internally to convert the files to the other formats)
- Is there a folder like "C:\Programm Files x86\Calibre2" or "C:\Programm Files\Calibre2" (Name could change a bit depending on your system language) on your system?

Yes, I have Windows 10.
I've never installed Calibre.
There is nothing under Program files/Calibre or Program files x86/Calibre. There is a Program Files x86/Fanfiction downloader/Calibre Portable. It contains /Calibre along with a /Calibre Library and /Calibre Settings.

If it helps, the chapters seem to be downloading fine. The message always comes just when they are starting to be converted.

Could you try to uninstall FFDL totally, delete the folder of FFDL in Program Files x86, restart your computer and reinstall it again?
(It could be that some files remained during the upgrade which are now blocking the whole thing)

Yay! Uninstalling, restarting, and reinstalling fixed it. Successful downloads on both AO3 and Fanfiction.net.
